RANDY PAULEY Randy Pauley, age 67, passed away quietly on November 9 in his home from Chronic Kidney Disease. He was a 1974 graduate of Centralia High School having continued on from there to Hawkeye Institute for Photography in Waterloo, IA. Randy worked for 25 years with 3M Company in Columbia, Missouri having left to fulfill a lifelong dream, with his wife of having his own photography studio, Mirror Images Photography in Centralia, Missouri. After 15 years in the retail business, Randy rejoined the workforce and was a forklift operator for Hubbell Power Systems, while he and his wife raised three grandkids for the next 9 years. Randy retired from Hubbell after ten years of service. Randy is best known for his passion for fishing, camping, his love of photography and shooting cannons at Living History Reenactments. As a boy scout, Randy got the itch for photography by making his first camera from a coffee can. His father built him a dark room in their home garage and his eye for still life grew from there. He went on to freelance for the local newspaper at the time, the Centralia Guard and was the staff photographer for the yearbook during Jr. High and High School. Later, while working at 3M, he partnered with a co-worker and they had a small photography studio in Columbia, Reflections Photography, where Randy was the wedding photographer. Later he and his wife owned the studio in Centralia. Randy was a very accomplished photographer, winning many awards for his work and creativity, plus earning Director positions on two state photography organizations. Randy is survived by his wife, Sheila of 36 years, two daughters from a previous marriage, Kristin Wilson (and Bobby) of Fulton, Missouri, Nicole King (and Mark) of Mexico, Missouri, a stepson, Reece Strawn of El Dorado Springs, Missouri and son, Roman Pauley (and Kari Malwitz) of Columbia, Missouri. Randy is also survived by his mother, Patricia Pauley and a brother, Rodney Pauley. Randy had nine grandchildren - Caleb King, Mackenzie Wilson, Robbie Wilson, Austyn Culwell, Hunter Strawn, Fisher Strawn, Trapper Strawn, Debin Lewis and Elora Danon Malwitz. He is also survived by one great-grandchild, plus nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Molly Pauley and father, William N. Pauley. No services will be performed as Randy preferred to be cremated with a "Living Memorial" performed prior to his death.
