Peggy Dixon

PEGGY DIXON Peggy Dixon, 69, Columbia, MO, passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at the Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, MO. She was born March 27, 1952 in Kansas City, MO the daughter of the late William and Sally (Kramer) Dixon. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by one sister Sheila Youger and her husband Doug of Independence, MO; one son in law Shawn Spalding and Alyssa of Columbia, MO; four grandchildren Cameron Spalding, Caleb Spalding, Austin Gilbert and Levi Gilbert; two nephews Justin Willig and Nathan Willig and his wife Keli ; five great nieces and nephews Wylie Hunter, Tayte Willig, Layni Willig, Cullin Willig and Thorin Willig; other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents, one daughter Flechia Spalding preceded her in death. Peggy first worked as a semi-truck driver and later as a bakery manager at Wal-Mart in Columbia, MO for several years. She was a member of Bates City Baptist Church and enjoyed sewing, crocheting, quilts, cooking and gardening. Peggy loved spending time with all of her family and especially her two dogs Addie and Abbie. A celebration of life will be 2:00 pm Sunday, October 10, 2021 at the Oliver Funeral Home in Sturgeon, MO. Interment will be in Mt. Horeb Cemetery in Sturgeon, MO. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until service time on Sunday, October 10, 2021 at the Oliver Funeral Home in Sturgeon, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to the Friends of Mt.
