MILDRED D. TROYER
Mildred D. Troyer, 94, Centralia, MO passed away Saturday, January 29, 2022, at the Stuart House in Centralia, MO surrounded by her family. She was born May 13, 1927, in Clark, MO the daughter of the late John W. Mallory and Eva (Matthews) Mallory. On November 26, 1947, she was united in marriage to Jack Troyer who preceded her in death on December 4, 2007.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her children Sandy Kinkead and her husband B.I. of Columbia, MO, Jeff Troyer and his wife Vickie of Jacksonville, MO, Connie Troyer of Centralia, MO, Mike Troyer and his wife Cathy of Columbia, MO and John Troyer and his wife Joni of Columbia, MO; eight grandchildren Stephanie Hose and her husband Tony, Malissa Davis and her husband Jonathon, Megan Shepherd and her husband Terry, Cayla Timberlake and her husband Nick, Brad Troyer and his wife Sami, Matt Troyer and Kiersten Haertling, Holly Caldwell and her husband Matthew and Luke Troyer; six great grandchildren Mary Frances, Willie, Jacob, Tyler, Hilly and Sophie; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents, one sister Dessie Aufdenbrink and one brother Kenneth Mallory preceded her in death.
Mildred worked as a teacher’s aide for Centralia Public Schools for many years. She was a member of Centralia First Christian Church where she was very active in CWF and many other church activities. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially the grandchildren, gardening, sewing, quilting, cooking, line dancing and playing cards.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am Monday, February 7, 2022, at the First Christian Church in Centralia, MO. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm on Sunday, February 6, 2022, at the Oliver Funeral Home in Centralia, MO. A graveside service will be 2:00 pm Monday, February 7, 2022, at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville, MO.
