MILDRED DAVIDSON

 

Mildred Davidson, 83, Mexico, MO passed away Thursday, March 21, 2024, at the Pin Oaks Living Center in Mexico, MO. She was born December 4, 1940, in Auxvasse, MO, the daughter of the late Robert and Pauline (Hatfield) Nowlin. On March 22, 1958, she was united in marriage to Norman Davidson.

 

In addition to her husband Norman of 66 years, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by five daughters Sandra Reno and Terry of Paris, MO, Brenda Wright of Mexico, MO, Patty Vincent and Ed of Montgomery City, MO, Carolyn Marville and Charles of Fredericksburg, VA and Cindy McCameron and Kenny of Charleston, MO; two sons Norman Davidson, II and Robin of Mexico, MO and Ronald Davidson and Corina of El Paso, Texas; two brothers Robert Nowlin and Kathryn of Mexico, MO and Frank Nowlin of Centralia, MO; two sisters Mary Williams and Richard of Farber, MO and Betty Cornett and Lindell of Mexico, MO; 20 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren; two sister in law's Karen Nowlin of Salina, KS and Helen Davidson of Mexico, MO; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents, one sister, two brothers, one grandson and two son in law's preceded her in death.

 

Mildred worked as a CNA for several nursing homes and later for MFA Insurance. She enjoyed camping, crocheting, the St. Louis Cardinals and gatherings with her friends and family.

 

Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at the Centralia Church of Christ in Centralia, MO. Interment will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Monday, March 25, 2024, at the Oliver Funeral Home in Centralia, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to the Missouri Lions Eye Mission Foundation, c/o Oliver Funeral Home, P.O. Box 125, Centralia, MO 65240.
