Lois Mellor

LOIS RUTH MELLOR Lois Ruth Mellor, 79, Centralia, MO passed away Saturday, June 19, 2021 in the State of New York while visiting her family. Lois was born December 7, 1942 in Philadelphia, PA the daughter of the late Walter and Mable (Beegie) Billman. On January 4, 1962 she was united in marriage to John Mellor. In addition to her husband John of 59 years, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by two sons John Mellor, Jr. and Vince Mellor; one brother; two sisters; four grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents, one brother Howard Billman preceded her in death. Lois worked for the Ridgecrest Police Department in Ridgecrest, CA for several years. She was a member of the Centralia United Methodist Church and enjoyed gardening, knitting and spending time with her family. Graveside services will be 10:00 am Friday, December 3, 2021 at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville, MO.
