MARSHALL KENT HARRISON Marshall Kent Harrison, 63, Centralia, Missouri passed away Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at the University of Missouri Hospital and Clinics in Columbia, Missouri. He was born February 13, 1960, in Mexico, Missouri the son of the late Glenn and Leona (Barker) Harrison. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Carolyn (Armontrout) Lane; his children Kenneth Harrison of Lehigh Acres, Florida, Nicole McCaulley of Prattville, Alabama, Rebecca (Whitney) Fields of Charleston, South Carolina, Brandon (Kristin) Lane of Newport, North Carolina and Cadie (Trevor) Kessler of Arnold, Missouri; his brother Jim (Donna) Harrison of Denver, CO; grandchildren Vivian Harrison of Columbia, Missouri, Michael McCaulley of Prattville, Alabama, Matthew McCaulley of Prattville, Alabama, Evan Lane of Newport, North Carolina, Kelan Kessler of Arnold, Missouri, Mya Castro of Arnold, Missouri and Maci Kessler of Arnold, Missouri; a Daughter In-Law A.J. Staley-Harrison of Columbia, Missouri; a Sister In-Law Sharon Harrison of Mexico, Missouri; a niece Tracey (Harrison) Emmons of Mobile, Alabama and family; and nephews Mathew Harrison and family of Denver, Colorado and Jordan Harrison and family of Denver, Colorado; his best friend, his dog Bear; other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to his parents, a brother Glenn Harrison Jr and his in laws Loyd and Pauline Armontrout preceded him in death. Kent retired from the 3M Company in Columbia, Missouri on July 31, 2022, after 43 years of service. He enjoyed spending time at the family cabin in Lake of the Ozarks. Family members and friends have many good memories in Dry Branch Cove whether it was boating, tubing, riding the wave runner, fishing, devouring Kent's cooking which was delicious, or just enjoying each other's company on the cabin deck telling stories or laughing at the kid’s shenanigans. Kent also enjoyed listening to music, watching old western TV shows, putting out a big garden every year with the best tasting tomatoes, and just spending time with family. Kent was a quiet kindhearted man who had many friends that he considered family and them the same. Kent will be sadly missed beyond measure by many who loved him but the memories of him will remain.
