JAYNE E. “ELAINE” (LINNENBRINGER) WALKER
Jayne E. “Elaine” (Linnenbringer) Walker, --, Auxvasse, MO passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born August 30, 1958, the daughter of the late Hadley H. Linnenbringer and Gladys (Borgelt) Linnenbringer. She was first united in marriage to Stanley Knipp. Later on May 8, 2002, she was united in marriage to Bob Walker.
In addition to her husband Bob of 22 years, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by one daughter Elizabeth Ann Knipp of Auxvasse, MO; one son Hadley Wayne Knipp of Holts Summit, MO; three stepsons Robert Walker and his wife Courtney of St. Louis, MO, Ryan Walker and his wife Ashley of Kansas City, MO and Jacob Walker and Heather Grossman of Mexico, MO; two brothers Hadley E. Linnenbringer and his wife Lynn of Hatton, MO; Hershel Linnenbringer and his wife Betty of Williamsburg, MO; one sister Sylvia Glenn and her husband Phil of Millersburg, MO; nine grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents, a brother Gary Linnenbringer preceded her in death.
Elaine first worked at Richardson Bass Asphalt, then she was a milk tester for DHIA and later she would raise dairy heifers. Throughout her life, she was a farmer and raised cattle and hogs. Her life-long dream was to get a Class A CDL, and she was able to accomplish that. She enjoyed playing pinochle, rook, backgammon crocheting baby blankets and making her special Angel Food Cake. She also had her own horse and carriage business for events. Elaine was also an active participant in the annual Hatton Craft Fair.
Funeral services will be 7:00 pm Monday, May 6, 2024, at the McCredie Community Church in McCredie, MO. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Monday, May 6, 2024, at the McCredie Community Church in McCredie, MO. A graveside service will be 1:00 pm Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to the McCredie Community Church, c/o Oliver Funeral Home, P.O. Box 125, Centralia, MO 65240.
