HAROLD LLOYD GEORGE
Harold Lloyd, George, 84, Centralia, MO passed away Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, MO. He was born February 19, 1937 in Mexico, MO the son of the late Harold Austin George and Wastella (Johnson) George. On June 1, 1962 he was united in marriage to Mary Frances Fadler.
In addition to his wife Mary Frances George of 58 years, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by two daughters Sandra Green and her husband Leroy of Centralia, MO and Tina Railsback and her husband Rex of Lawrence, KS; one brother Kenneth George and Judy Donaldson of Mexico, MO; one sister Mildred Penn and her husband David of Mexico, MO; four grandchildren Amanda Clark and her husband Toby, Ashley Kabler, Meghan Railsback and Brittney Nelson and her husband Brendan; four great grandchildren Katelyn, Madelyn, Quinn and Cavan; extended family Lester Leroy Jr. and his wife Lyndsy of Bowling Green, MO and their children Bradley, Christien, Heather and Leland; John Aaron and his wife Jess of Winfield, MO and their children Aliha, Amy and Tyler; Adam Christopher of Bowling Green, MO; other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to his parents, one sister Mary Lou Wilson and one brother Curtis George preceded him in death.
Harold served his country in the United States Navy from 1955 to 1959 and also served in the Naval Reserves through 1961. He worked at A.B. Chance Co. for over 40 years and enjoyed woodworking, collecting clocks, bowling, bird watching and feeding squirrels. He also enjoyed raising goldfish in his garden pond and loved spending time with his family, especially all of his grandchildren.
Memorial services will be 2:00 pm Saturday, May 15, 2021 at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church Multi-Purpose Building in Centralia, MO. Interment will be in the Centralia City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until service time on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church Multi-Purpose Building in Centralia, MO.
