ELLA JOSEPHINE “MOMMA JO” (HUNTER) DICKNEITE Ella Josephine “Momma Jo” (Hunter) Dickneite, 86, Centralia, MO passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at Monroe Manor in Paris, MO surrounded by her family. She was born August 22, 1936, in Bragg City, MO the daughter of the late J.O. and Maude (Bowlin) Hunter. On June 20, 1958, she was united in marriage to Leo Henry Dickneite, who preceded her in death. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by two daughters Kim (Dickneite) Dennis of Centralia, MO and Kenyetta (Dickneite) Ridgway-Sample and her husband Chip of Centralia, MO; one brother Clark Hunter of Versailles, MO; one sister Billie (Hunter) Hunt of Sun City, AZ; two grandchildren Mercedes Dennis and Gunner Ridgway; two great grandchildren Christofer Dennis and Zaydyn Edwards; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents and husband three brothers Ovid Hunter, Jerry Hunter and Doyne Hunter; three sisters Jeannette (Hunter) McLaughlin, Bonnie (Hunter) Bess and LaNora (Hunter) Shrum preceded her in death. Jo first worked for A.B. Chance Co in data entry for several years. Later she owned and operated her own flower shop called Joles Flower Shop and a ceramic shop. Finally, she worked in the deli at Prenger foods for ten years. She was a member of Centralia Church of Christ and enjoyed sewing, quilting, embroidery, baking and camping trips with her husband and family. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Monday, September 26, 2022, at the Oliver Funeral Home in Centralia, MO. Interment will be in the Centralia City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm Sunday, September 25, 2022, at the Oliver Funeral Home in Centralia, MO.
