CAROLYN F. JOHNSTON

Carolyn F. Johnston, 79, Madison, MO passed away Sunday, August 26, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was born May 4, 1945, the daughter of the late Riley “Tex” Ronimous and Anna (Easley) Ronimous. She was first united in marriage to Billy S. Johnston, Sr. and later to Danny Eugene Johnston who preceded her in death.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her son Billy S. Johnston. Jr. and his wife Courtney of Madison, MO; one sister Patty Hutchinson of Jacksonville, MO; a step-grandson Brandon McKenzie of Middle Grove, MO; four grandchildren Autumn Mastalski, Eva Johnston, Erica Johnston and Kimber Johnston; two step grandchildren Cheyanne McKenzie and Kenzleigh McKenzie; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents and husband, her grandson Daniel R. Johnston, seven brothers Olen Ronimous, Donald Ronimous, Bobby Ronimous, Raymond Ronimous, Billy Ronimous, Russel Ronimous and Stanley Ronimous and three sisters Louise Flickinger, Betty Lockwood and Mary Esry preceded her in death.

Carolyn worked as a C.N.A. for several area nursing homes for many years. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses of Moberly Missouri. She enjoyed trees, flowers, being outdoors and spending time with her sister-in-law Faye Adams and her family, especially all of her grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 10:00 am Friday August 30, 2024, at the Oak Grove Cemetery near Madison, MO.
