Bryan Schmidt

1966 — November 26, 2021

BRYAN C. SCHMIDT Bryan C. Schmidt, 55, Centralia, Mo., passed away Friday, November 26th, 2021. Bryan was born February 22, 1966, the son of William and Jane (Schuman) Schmidt. He graduated from Francis Howell High School in 1984. Bryan married his Rosel in 1987 and had 34 years of love and laughter together as husband and wife. They built their life together and surrounded everyone they met with that same laughter and love. Bryan committed his life to his family and friends as he and Rosel raised their boys Matt, Mike, Marc and Mitch to be as hard working and steadfast as he was. He worked for 37 years as a drywall finisher helping others making their houses homes. He dedicated much of his life to helping instill an appreciation for the journey that is life in the youth he met on and off the wrestling mat. When he wasn’t working or with wrestlers, he was celebrating nature’s beauty whether in the trees and blinds or in his boat on the lake. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his four sons Matt (Demi) Schmidt, Mike (Courtney) Schmidt, Marc (Shannon) Schmidt and Mitch (Brady) Schmidt; two grandchildren Gage and Gunner; his parents Bill and Jane Schmidt of Centralia, his mother-in-law Mabel Busdieker of Laddonia; his brother Doug (Cathy) Schmidt of Gerald; his sister Lindy (Brooke) Schmidt of Columbia; his brothers- and sisters-in-law; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and many dear friends. A celebration of life will be 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 4th, 2021 at the Centralia High School Gymnasium in Centralia, Mo. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until service time on Saturday, December 4th at the Centralia High School Gymnasium.
