Bob Roberts

ROBERT E. “BOB” ROBERTS Robert E. “Bob” Roberts, 59, Sturgeon, MO passed away Friday, January 21, 2022, at the University of Missouri Hospital & Clinics in Columbia, MO. He was born October 21, 1962, in Columbia, MO the son of Jack and Vivian (Garrett) Roberts. On December 31, 1993, he was united in marriage to Cathy (Thompson) Roberts. In addition to his wife Cathy of 28 years, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by four sons Brendan Roberts of St. Louis, MO, Kenneth Roberts of Mexico, MO, William Roberts and his wife Emily of Columbia, MO and Jesse Roberts and his wife Lauren of Columbia, MO; his mother Vivian Roberts; his brother Ken Roberts and his wife Jana of Columbia, MO; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to his father, one brother Billy Roberts preceded him in death. Bob worked as a custodian and assistant baseball coach for the Sturgeon School District. He was a charter member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans Camp 1743 and attended Friendship Christian Church. He loved music, baseball and spending time with his family and friends. Bob always said, “I will share my love of baseball with anyone who will listen”. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Thursday, January 27, 2022, at the Oliver Funeral Home in Sturgeon, MO. Interment will be in the Mt. Horeb Cemetery in Sturgeon, MO. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at the Oliver Funeral Home in Sturgeon, MO.
