BEVERLY ATKINSON Beverly Atkinson, 82, Centralia, MO, passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born August 16, 1941, in Kansas City, MO the daughter of the late Thomas and Mabel (Stoner) Buck. On December 7, 1962, she was united in marriage to Charles W. Atkinson who preceded her in death on December 13, 2021. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by one daughter Carrie Million and her husband Paul of Centralia, MO; three grandchildren Lauren Abigail Million, Gracie Ann Hamilton and her husband Draven and Charles Franklin Million; one great grandson Luca Hamilton; her sister in law Berneita Buck of Centralia, MO; two brother in laws Paul Dean Roberts of Centralia, MO and Jerry Atkinson of Mexico, MO; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents and husband, one son Donald Lee Atkinson, three brothers Donald Buck, Howard Buck and his wife Barbara, and Delbert Buck; one sister Shirley Shepherd and her husband Jim preceded her in death. Beverly first worked for A.B. Chance Co. and later for Hubbel Power Systems for 45 years. She was a member of the Centralia First Baptist Church and the Joy Club. She enjoyed reading, baking, making Christmas candy, and attending Farmer’s Markets. She loved spending time with all her family, especially her grandchildren, great grandson and her dog Minnie. A celebration of life will be 3:00 pm Sunday, August 20, 2023, at the Oliver Funeral Home in Centralia, MO. Interment will be in the Centralia City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm until service time on Sunday, August 20, 2023, at the Oliver Funeral Home in Centralia, MO.
